We hunt thousands of acres of the swamps and high ground along a couple miles of the Savannah River drainage - about 15 miles NW of Estill, SC- just across the river from Georgia. Don't let the swamp intimidate you - it`s like going to church! The swamp is interspersed with plenty of well-kept woods roads and the peninsula we're on is completely surrounded by the river and paved roads... you can`t get lost.
Our maximum is six hunters with only one or two hunts per month. All meals, lodging, snacks, guide service, and meat prep are included in the price. There are no trophy fees, and a three hog limit per hunter. We encourage you to not shoot hogs under 75 lbs and no wet sows, please.
We meet in Estill SC at six p.m. on the Thursday evening of your trip, go to camp for dinner, prepare your equipment, shoot a little, and get oriented. The hunt begins at daybreak Friday morning and runs to early afternoon Sunday. Your only expenses are getting here and a license.
Combination hog and turkey is a $40 license and a $100 big game tag. Shotguns or bows are ok for turkey hunting. $40 is the license cost for hogs, you can get your license online here.
The adult hunt price is $575 for hogs, and $675 for turkey hog combo hunts. $300 for young hunters accompanied by their parents ( Fifteen and under). To reserve a spot we require a $100 non-refundable deposit per hunter. If you need to cancel, you don't lose the deposit.
If you want to book but don't have a full group, that's not a problem. If a couple guys book a weekend it allows others who also don't have a full group to join up with you- we only take TradGangers and their friends. For more details click the TradGang link below.
